Paul A. Duggan Company

Paul Duggan
I started in the horological field in 1977 repairing clocks for a hobby. A friend introduced me to the NAWCC and my interest soon expanded to repairing and collecting watches. After several years of doing repair work part time in addition to a full time job as a production supervisor, I realized the more profitable part of the business was trading. Using my savings from the repair business I began buying out retired watch and clockmakers. I liquidated the unwanted items and repaired the collectible timepieces to make them saleable.

In 1986 I left my career of 11 years and started the Paul Duggan Company in a spare bedroom. Soon I needed full time help and more space and moved to the present location. Since that time we have grown to a four person office.

In October of 2000 we opened our new showroom in Boston's Jewelry district to better serve our Boston area visitors and customers. See showroom page.

In 1998 we started our web site for fine watches. Since that time our site has multiplied in size and quality. Collectors worldwide have realized the internet is the best venue for purchasing fine watches at competitive prices. The days of going to a high line store and paying full price or waiting years to purchase the watch you want are over. Our formula for success is to provide a large selection of mint condition watches at a good price and to stand behind every sale. We want your business and will work hard to keep it.

What they say:

I have known Paul for many years, He is a straight forward guy.

M. Bullock

I recently bought a watch from Paul and it was exactly as described. You can feel secure buying from this gentleman. He is one of the most respected dealers in the vintage watch business.

M. Berliner

I bought a beautiful Seadweller from Paul for a very fair price. He mentioned he might be able to get the papers for the watch, as it was a trade-in from a repeat customer. The papers were never made as part of the deal. A few weeks later, I receive a padded envelope in the mail with all the papers and tags. Even after the deal was done, Paul was willing to follow up and make sure I was taken care of.

Jeffrey

I had the pleasure of dealing with Paul since more than 6/7 years ago. He has proven to be the best, most trust-worthy and reliable dealer in the US.

Great service. Excellent watch exactly as described.

S. Morrisette

Thank you for your help in providing the link and the appraisal. It is nice to do business with a dealer who is as attentive to the customer’s needs after the sale as they were before the transaction.

B. Armbruster

I received the watch on Thursday. Love the watch and the way it is keeping time. It was a pleasure doing business with you and Jack who assisted me in your absence.

E. Kress

Today I got the watch. It is very nice and I am very happy that your web site offered this opportunity. The box is also very nice, ... Thank you for the brilliant watch and service.

M. Teichmann

I know that no feedback is necessary because we did not trade through eBay, but I have to thank you for such a smooth transaction. You lived up to your end of the deal and I could not be happier with my new Datagraph.
