I started in the field of horology in the mid-1970's as a hobbyist. My first interest was collecting and repairing antique clocks. A friend introduced me to the NAWCC and my interest soon expanded into watches.

In the early days, my specialty was buying complete contents of workshops. This was a tremendous source of tools, parts and timepieces. Soon my hobby became a full-time occupation, and in 1986 I started the Paul Duggan Company, Inc., in a spare bedroom. Today we have grown to a staff of five and have a retail showroom in Boston's historic Jeweler's Building. ( see showroom page ) Our website was born in 1998 in the early days of internet watch trading. Today, we feature an average of 180 watches on our site, with weekly updates between 10 and 20 watches. We ship worldwide and promote our site on an international level. Our main focus is on high-grade, pre-owned modern and vintage watches. We feature a large selection of Patek Philippe, Rolex, Lange, Cartier and other top brands.

Jack Maher joined the company in 1997 after 20 years in the horological field. Jack has a diploma in watchmaking from the Bulova school where he also was a teacher and the Wostep school in Nevchatel, Switzerland. Jack Is responsible for fine watch repairs and our parts supply. He is an expert on Rolex and Patek Philippe repairs and maintains a large supply of genuine factory parts to repair these brands. Katie started with the Company after working in a marketing career. She graduated from U Mass with a degree in graphic and web design and currently updates and maintains our website. Katie is also responsible for customer watch repairs including taking watch repairs in, estimates for service and coordinating with our watchmaker to keep you updated on the status of your repair.
